How to Use the Kanban Board

Create a board
Use the ＋ Board button to start a board for a project. A sample board is ready for you to edit.
Add columns & cards
Rename the default To Do / In Progress / Done columns or add your own, then add cards with the input at the bottom of each column.
Move work across
Drag cards between columns (or use the ◀ ▶ arrows on mobile) as tasks progress toward Done.
Track your progress
Watch the progress bar and chart update, and open any card to set its priority or add details.

Do I need an account to use this Kanban board?
No. There's no sign-up or login. Open the page and start adding cards immediately. Everything is saved automatically in your browser, so your boards are still there when you come back on the same device and browser.
Where are my boards saved?
Your boards are stored locally in your browser's storage — they never leave your device and aren't sent to any server. This keeps your tasks completely private, but it also means they're tied to that browser. Use Export to back up a board or move it to another device.
How do I move a card to another column?
On a computer, just drag the card and drop it into any column. On a phone or tablet, tap the ◀ ▶ arrows on a card to move it left or right, or open the card and pick a column from the 'Move to' menu.
Can I create more than one board?
Yes — that's the point. Create a separate board for each project, client, or area of life (work, study, home, side-project). Use the board tabs at the top to switch between them, and the ＋ Board button to add a new one.
What do the To Do, In Progress and Done columns mean?
They represent the flow of work from left to right: tasks start in To Do, move to In Progress when you're actively working on them, and finish in Done. You can rename these columns or add your own (like Backlog, Review, or Blocked) to match your workflow.
What are priorities and the progress bar?
Each card can be marked Low, Medium or High priority, shown as a colored dot. The progress bar measures how many cards have reached the final column, and the mini chart shows how cards are distributed across columns — a quick read on where your work is piling up.
Can I back up or share a board?
Yes. Click the export (⬇️) button to download the current board as a JSON file. You can re-import it later, move it to another browser, or keep it as a backup. Import (⬆️) adds a board from a file.
