Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

TopFreeOnline (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website topfreeonline.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using our website you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to operate the website and our blog:

  • Account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
  • Profile information: Any details you choose to add to your profile — headline, bio, website, and social links.
  • User-generated content: Blog posts, images, and other content you create or upload as an author.
  • Usage data: Anonymous data such as page views, device type, and browser type, collected via Google Analytics.
  • Local storage: Some tools (e.g., the Online Notepad) store data locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.
  • Contact form: If you contact us, we collect your name, email, and message to respond to you.

We do not collect passwords (Google handles sign-in), payment information, or special-category sensitive data.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account and public profile
  • Let authors write, submit, and publish blog content
  • Attribute published articles to their author
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the website
  • Understand how the tools are used (via analytics) and improve them
  • Respond to your contact inquiries
  • Display relevant advertising through Google AdSense

3. Accounts & Google Sign-In

We use Google Sign-In (OAuth) as the only way to create an account. When you sign in, Google shares your basic profile (name, email, profile picture) with us — we never see or store your Google password. We use this to create your account, build your public profile, and let you contribute to the blog.

Your account data is stored securely in our database, hosted by Neon (PostgreSQL). You can edit your profile at any time from your dashboard, or request deletion of your account by contacting us.

4. User-Generated Content & Public Profiles

If you become an author, the blog posts you publish — along with your public profile (name, profile picture, headline, bio, and any social links you add) — are visible to anyoneon the internet and may be indexed by search engines. Please do not include private information you don't want to be public. You are responsible for the content you publish and must hold the rights to any images you upload.

5. Google AdSense & Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before serving personalized ads, in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy. See our Cookie Policy for details.

6. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (pages visited, frequency, and general patterns) so we can improve it. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, remembering your preferences (such as dark/light mode), analytics, and advertising. For a full breakdown of every cookie type and how to control them, please read our Cookie Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following trusted third parties, each with its own privacy policy:

  • Google Sign-In (OAuth) — authentication
  • Google AdSense — advertising
  • Google Analytics — usage analytics
  • Neon — database hosting (account & blog data)
  • Cloudinary — image hosting for blog images

We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party services.

9. Data Retention

We keep your account and profile data for as long as your account exists. Published blog content may be retained as part of the site's archive. When you request deletion, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to comply with legal obligations.

10. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data or update your profile
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a copy of your data (data portability)
  • Opt out of personalized ads and analytics
  • Withdraw consent at any time

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any right, email us at gauravse007@gmail.com.

11. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Many of our tools process data entirely in your browser without any server communication.

13. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date. Please review it periodically.
