How does the background remover work?
It uses an AI segmentation model that runs entirely inside your browser. When you drop in an image, the model identifies the main subject and erases everything else, leaving a clean transparent PNG. The first run downloads the model once (a few megabytes); after that it's cached and works instantly.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?

Can I get a transparent background?
